Medium Big Green EGG Accessory Ring (CGS Spider)
The CGS Medium Spider is a compact accessory ring for the Medium Big Green EGG. Flip it down inside the fire ring to hold a wok or heat deflector closer to the fire, or flip it up to raise a wok, elevate a pizza stone above the convEGGtor or support a hot accessory above an outdoor surface.
Fit note: The Medium Spider fits the Medium Big Green EGG only. It does not fit other manufacturer grills. Confirm your fire ring style and measurement before ordering.
Flip It Up or Down
The Medium Spider works in two directions. Legs down, it creates a lower platform inside the fire ring for a 12" wok or 10" heat deflector.
Legs up, it can hold a wok higher, lift a pizza stone above the convEGGtor or support a hot item above your outdoor table.
Use the Spider legs down to hold a 10" heat deflector inside the fire ring for small indirect setups.
Use the Spider to support a 12" wok in the Medium EGG for high-heat stir fry style cooking.
Flip the Spider up on top of the convEGGtor to lift the pizza stone and create an air gap.
Use it as a simple stand to lift hot grill accessories above a safe outdoor surface.
Choose the Correct Medium Spider
Medium EGG fire rings are not all the same. To confirm which Spider fits your Medium EGG, check the top of your fire ring and measure the inside diameter across the top before ordering.
Important: Choose 3-leg or 5-leg based on your fire ring. The wrong version may not sit correctly in your Medium EGG.
Choose 3-leg if your fire ring is smooth all the way around or has 3 notches for the convEGGtor. The fire ring inside diameter should measure at least 13" across the top.
Choose 5-leg if your fire ring has 5 shallow dimples on top. The fire ring inside diameter should measure at least 12-3/8" across the top.

3-Leg Spider Fit
- Fits Medium EGG fire rings that are smooth all the way around or have 3 convEGGtor notches.
- Confirm the fire ring inside diameter is at least 13" across the top.
- Holds objects approx. 8" to 12-1/4" in diameter.
- Drops approx. 1-1/8" to 1-3/4" into the fire ring, depending on whether it is placed in or out of the convEGGtor notches.
5-Leg Spider Fit
- Fits older Medium EGG fire rings with 5 shallow dimples on top.
- Confirm the fire ring inside diameter is at least 12-3/8" across the top.
- Holds objects approx. 8" to 11" in diameter.
- Drops approx. 1-1/8" into the fire ring.
