Product Description
Catch Drippings & Keep Your Primo Oval Cleaner
Keep grease and food drippings off your ceramic heat deflectors with a Primo Oval Stainless Steel Drip Pan. Available for Primo XXL, XL, Large, and Junior Oval grills, each half-oval pan is sized to follow the shape of the corresponding ceramic heat deflector plate.
Use a drip pan beneath ribs, pork shoulder, brisket, poultry, and other foods that release grease or juices during indirect cooks. The reusable stainless steel pan makes cleanup easier while helping keep drippings from baking into the porous ceramic deflectors below.
Important: Drip pans are sold individually. Each deflector plate requires one drip pan, so most full-indirect barbecue setups use two pans.
Why Add a Drip Pan?
- Catch Drippings: Collects grease, juices, and food drippings during indirect cooks.
- Easier Cleanup: Helps keep your ceramic deflector plates cleaner and free of burnt grease.
- Half-Oval Shape: Follows the natural contour of the Primo Oval heat deflector for complete coverage.
- Stainless Steel: Heavy-duty, reusable construction for repeated high-heat cooks.
- Genuine Primo Accessory: Factory-designed and sized specifically for compatible Primo Oval grills.
How to Use
- Position the drip pan directly above the ceramic heat deflector and beneath the main cooking grid.
- Use one half-oval drip pan over each ceramic deflector plate as needed.
- Double-line the drip pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil before cooking for fast and easy cleanup.
- When your setup allows, place CGS Ceramic Spacers between the drip pan and the ceramic deflector to create an air gap that prevents drippings from scorching.
Choose the Correct Size
- Primo XXL Oval (500): Select the XXL drip pan.
- Primo XL Oval (400): Select the XL drip pan.
- Primo Large Oval (300): Select the Large drip pan.
- Primo Junior Oval (200): Select the Junior drip pan.
Note for Round Cookers: For the Primo Kamado Round, we recommend using our 16-inch Round Stainless Drip Pan.
