Product Description
Add Full or Half-Moon Deflectors, Double Indirect, Wok
The Spider creates a versatile platform positioned approximately 2" below the Summit's main cooking grid. Use this lower platform for:
- Low & Slow: Set a pair of CGS 18" half-moon deflectors for full indirect.
- Double Indirect: Pair the CGS 18" half-moon deflectors with the Summit's stock deflector.
- Two Zone Grilling: Set one 18" half-moon deflector for direct & indirect at the same time.
- Wok: Drop in a 16" to 20" wok for hot & fast stir-fry, 16" wok is shown.
Note: Protect your 18" half-moon deflectors by placing our 18" Stainless Drip Pan above them. Line the pan with two layers of foil for quick and easy clean-up.
Spider & Flexible 2nd Level Grid
Pair the Spider with our CGS Flexible 2nd Level Grid for high-temperature grilling and reverse searing. Cook low & indirect on the Flexible 2nd Level Grid, then move the food down to the Spider for the final high-temperature sear. A CGS 20" Stainless Round Grid is pictured on the Spider.
This creates a seamless single-setup cook without reconfiguring the grill or moving hot components between steps.

Spider & Kick Ash Basket
The Spider fits above the Kick Ash Basket inside the Weber Summit Kamado, leaving plenty of clearance between the two components.

Spider Specs
Accommodates many round deflectors, pans and cooking surfaces from 15" to 20" in diameter.
- Material: Heavy-duty 1/4" 304 stainless steel with TIG welds
- Base Ring: Approximately 15" outside diameter
- Drop: Approximately 2" below the Summit's main cooking grid
Made in the USA by us in our wire fabrication shop.
