Stone and Drip Pan Recommendations
Use these recommendations to choose the best deflector, drip pan, or pizza stone for your XL Big Green EGG accessories.Drip Pan: The CGS 18" Round Stainless Drip Pan is recommended for most XL EGG raised-grid and indirect setups, including the CGS XL Woo, XL Adjustable Rig, XL EGGspander, and convEGGtor setups.
Pizza Setup
Best choice: 16" Deflector
16" is the recommended pizza stone. You can go smaller, but going bigger can make the pizza harder to handle and stone temperature difficult to stabilize. Add CGS ceramic spacers to create a beneficial air gap under the pizza stone.
CGS XL Woo Ring
Best choice: Two 18" Half-Moon Deflectors
The XL Woo Ring works with two 18" half-moon deflectors. They provide the best flexibility for indirect and two-zone setups.

CGS XL Adjustable Rig
Best choice: Two 18" Half-Moon Deflectors
The XL Adjustable Rig is best paired with two 18" half-moon deflectors for flexible indirect smoking and two-zone grilling.
CGS XL Spider
Best choice: Two 18" Half-Moon Deflectors
Use a pair of 18" half-moon deflectors for the lower deflector on double indirect setups or big two-grid cooks on the Adjustable Rig.
Use one 18" half-moon deflector to set up two-zone grilling with the XL grid on the fire ring.
XL Half Stone Hanger
Best choice: One 18" Half-Moon Deflector
The XL Half Stone Hanger is designed to hold one 18" half-moon deflector on the XL Adjustable Rig.
