Stabilize and Support the Heat Deflectors in Your Primo Oval XXL
The Primo Oval XXL Heat Deflector Rack (PG00375) is designed to securely hold ceramic heat deflector plates inside the Primo Oval XXL firebox. It creates a stable platform for indirect cooking, allowing you to run full or half-moon deflectors with confidence.

Ceramic heat deflector plates shown are not included.
How It Works
The rack sits inside the firebox and supports ceramic heat deflector plates above the charcoal. This creates a barrier between the fire and your food, transforming your Primo Oval XXL into an indirect cooking system.
No tools required. The rack drops directly into the factory firebox and is ready to use.
Run One or Two Racks
- Use a pair for full indirect, long barbeque cooks.
- Use one rack/deflector to create a direct & indirect two-zone setup.

XXL vs. XL Heat Deflector Rack — Confirm Your Model
This rack is designed specifically for the Primo Oval XXL (500).
It does NOT fit the Primo Oval XL.
- XXL Heat Deflector Rack (PG00375): Fits only the Primo Oval XXL.
- XL Heat Deflector Rack: Designed for the Primo Oval XL.
The XXL and XL fireboxes are different sizes and require different racks. If you own a Primo XXL, select the XXL Heat Deflector Rack (PG00375).
Model Clarification:
This rack fits the Primo Oval XXL. You may also see this grill referred to as the Oval 500, XX-Large, or 2XL. All of these names refer to the same Primo Oval XXL kamado.
