Stone and Drip Pan Recommendations
Use these recommendations to choose the best deflector, drip pan, or pizza stone setup for your Large Big Green EGG accessories.Drip Pan: The CGS 16" Round Stainless Drip Pan is recommended for most Large EGG indirect setups, including the CGS Woo, PSWoo, Adjustable Rig, and EGGspander setups.
For the convEGGtor, you can use a 14" or 16" drip pan. The 14" pan matches the convEGGtor's circular section. The 16" pan offers max coverage, out to the three legs.
Pizza Setup
Best choice: 15" Deflector
The 15" stone is recommended for all setups in the Large EGG. Add CGS ceramic spacers to create an air gap under the pizza stone.

CGS Large Spider
Best choice: 14" Deflector
A pair of 14" half-moon deflectors is the preferred choice. CGS or EGG deflectors work, with full round or half-moon options. Double Indirect, use 14" for lower deflector on Spider.
Two Zone Setup, EGG grid on fire ring:
One 14" half-moon works. For max indirect coverage, go one 15" half-moon deflector. Note: two 15" half-moons do not fit inside the fire ring.
CGS Large PSWoo with Spider Inverted Up
Best choice: 16" Half-Moon Deflectors
When pairing the PSWoo and 3-leg Spider (inverted up), CGS 16" half-moons are the preferred deflectors.
- Other option: CGS 13" x 17" oval stone
CGS PSWoo & EGGspander with convEGGtor
Best choice: Big Green EGG convEGGtor
The PSWoo and EGGspander are designed to hold the convEGGtor. It is easier to manage the convEGGtor with the PSWoo.
CGS Large Woo
Best choice: Two 16" Half-Moon Deflectors
The Large Woo works with several deflector options, but a pair of CGS 16" half-moons gives the best flexibility for indirect and two-zone setups.
- Other option: CGS 13" x 17" oval stone
CGS Large Adjustable Rig
Best choice: Two 16" Half-Moon Deflectors
The Adjustable Rig works with multiple deflectors, but CGS 16" half-moons are the preferred choice.
- Other option: CGS 13" x 17" oval stone
Adjustable Rig Half Stone Hanger
Best choice: 16" Half-Moon Deflector
The half stone hanger holds the 16" half-moon on the Adjustable Rig.
Big Green EGG EGGspander
Best choice: Two 15" Half-Moon Deflectors or convEGGtor
For the Large EGG EGGspander, 15" half-moon deflectors or convEGGtor are preferred. 16" deflectors sit to close the smaller diameter fire ring.
