Product Description
14" Big Green Egg Pizza Stone for Crispy Crusts & Even Baking
The 14" round Big Green Egg pizza stone is a popular size for Medium and larger kamado grills. Made from hardened firebrick ceramic, it absorbs and radiates heat evenly to help produce crisp crusts, better browning and more consistent baking inside your EGG.
Best use: pizza and baking stone. Recommended for grills with a cooking grid larger than 15" in diameter.
Why This Size Works
The 14" size gives you a practical balance of cooking surface, dome clearance and airflow. It is large enough for personal pizzas, small pies and side dishes, while still leaving room around the stone for heat to move through the grill.
Better with an Air Gap
For pizza and baking, the stone works best when it is part of an indirect setup. Use a lower heat barrier below the pizza stone and, when your setup allows, create an air gap between the lower deflector and the pizza stone.
Setup tip: Use CGS Ceramic Spacers to create the air gap when your setup allows. The lower heat barrier blocks direct flame, while the air gap helps even out stone temperature for better crust control.
Use & Care
Preheat the stone gradually with the grill before adding food. For pizza, use cornmeal or parchment paper under the dough to help with transfer and release. Do not oil the stone.
After cooking, let the stone cool completely before scraping or brushing away residue. Do not use soap, do not place in a dishwasher and avoid aggressive high-heat clean burns.
