The Rotisserie Basket for Large and XL Big Green EGG expands what you can cook on your rotisserie by giving smaller foods a secure place to tumble and roast over the fire. It is a great option for chicken wings, vegetables, shrimp, potatoes, and other foods that are difficult to secure directly on the spit rod.

Large Basket Setup:

Unlike some aftermarket baskets with lock-down channels that are too narrow for the Big Green EGG rotisserie spit, this basket is confirmed to fit both the Large and XL EGG Rotisserie Kits.

Made for More Than Whole Chickens & Roasts

A rotisserie basket lets smaller pieces move continuously as the spit turns. Instead of sitting in one position over the fire, food tumbles through the basket for more even exposure to the heat.

Fits Large & XL Big Green EGG Rotisseries

The basket measures approximately 14.5-inch L x 6-inch H x 7-inch W and is confirmed to fit the spit rod used with both the Large and XL Big Green EGG Rotisserie Kits.

XL Basket Setup:

Important: Rotisserie baskets are not universal. Some baskets use lock-down channels that are too narrow to slide onto the Big Green EGG rotisserie spit. This basket has been confirmed to fit both sizes.

Pair It with a Two-Zone Rotisserie Setup

On either the Large or XL EGG, pair the rotisserie basket with a CGS Spider and properly sized half-moon deflector to create a two-zone setup. The half-moon deflector shields one side of the cook from direct heat while leaving the other side exposed to the fire.

Any of the CGS Spider options for the corresponding Large or XL EGG can be used. The half-moon deflector needs to be the correct size to fit inside the fire ring.

As the basket rotates, food moves between the direct and indirect sides, giving you another way to manage heat and browning throughout the cook.
