Choosing the right cover for your Big Green Egg doesn’t have to be confusing. Whether you're protecting an EGG in a Nest, Modular Nest, Acacia Table, outdoor kitchen, or another setup, the key is matching the cover to both your EGG size and configuration.
Big Green Egg covers are built to protect your grill and surrounding setup from the elements while allowing the cover to breathe. Made from durable, weather-resistant materials, they help shield your EGG from rain, sun, dust, and debris without trapping excess moisture underneath.

Several covers fit more than one EGG size, so grill size alone does not determine which cover you need. A Large EGG in an Acacia Table, for example, uses a different cover than a Large EGG in a Nest or Modular Nest.

Cover F protects the dome and upper portion of the EGG rather than covering a complete Nest, table, or modular setup.
Cover G – MiniMax & Mini Carrier
Fits: MiniMax & Mini in Carrier
Cover H – Medium, Small & MiniMax

EGG Covers for Outdoor Kitchens
For Big Green Eggs installed in an outdoor kitchen or built-in countertop, EGG recommends Cover F, but it only covers the dome and upper portion of the grill. If you want a cover that extends over the entire exposed EGG, Big Green Egg does not currently offer a dedicated full-length cover for this type of installation.
One option is to start with the appropriately sized Nest Cover — Cover B, H, or I, depending on your EGG size — and have the bottom shortened to fit your installation. Anyone comfortable with basic sewing or alterations should be able to modify the cover. It isn't difficult, but it does take a little measuring and time to get the length right.

How do you tie down a Big Green Egg cover?
The covers include different tie-down or closure methods depending on the specific cover model.
Are Big Green Egg covers interchangeable between sizes?
Some are. Several Big Green Egg covers are designed to fit more than one EGG size or configuration. The important thing is to match both your EGG size and setup to the fitment listed for each cover above.
Will a dome cover fit an EGG in a Nest?
Cover F is designed to cover the dome and upper portion of the EGG rather than the complete Nest and grill combination. If you want to cover both the EGG and Nest, choose the appropriate Nest Cover listed above.
What cover should I use for a built-in Big Green Egg?
Big Green Egg recommends Cover F for built-in and outdoor kitchen installations. It covers the dome and upper portion of the EGG rather than the entire exposed ceramic body. If you want a longer cover, see our outdoor kitchen recommendation above.
Do I need a different cover for an Acacia Table?
Yes. An EGG installed in an Acacia Table requires a cover sized for the entire table and grill configuration. The XL Acacia Table uses Cover C, while the Large Acacia Table uses Cover E.
Does a Modular Nest Expansion Frame require a different cover?
Yes. Adding an Expansion Frame increases the overall width of the setup. Cover C fits Medium, Large, and XL EGGs in a Modular Nest with an Expansion Frame.
How do I clean a Big Green Egg cover?
Machine wash on a normal cycle and air dry. Do not use a dryer.
