Updated Thermometers for Primo Oval & Round Grills
Replace a worn, damaged, or inaccurate dome thermometer with Primo's current OEM replacement thermometer. The updated design features a sturdier threaded stem for a more secure installation and improved durability on compatible Primo ceramic grills.
Two sizes are available to fit the Primo Oval XXL, Oval XL, Oval Large, Oval Junior, and Kamado Round.

Model Numbers & Grill Fit
The Primo Oval XL uses the larger thermometer and includes a bezel ring. The Oval Large, Oval Junior, and Kamado Round use the smaller thermometer.
- PG0200033 — Primo Oval XL & XXL: Larger replacement dome thermometer with bezel ring.
- PG0200012 — Primo Oval Large, Oval Junior & Kamado Round: Smaller replacement dome thermometer.
Installation Notes
Important: Primo's current replacement thermometer uses a slightly larger mounting hole than some earlier thermometer designs. If you are replacing an older-style thermometer, the existing hole in the ceramic dome may need to be enlarged before installation.
Primo's installation video below demonstrates the required modification and installation process.
- A drill and 3/8" masonry drill bit are required when the existing thermometer hole needs to be enlarged.
- A 3/8" masonry bit is commonly available at hardware and home-improvement stores.
- Follow Primo's instructions and drill slowly to minimize the risk of chipping the ceramic.
