Product Description
FireBoard G3 Blower - powerful and streamlined for greater performance and durability on Kamado grills.
The G3 model is a powerful blower (fan) that fits most Kamado style grills with a 16-inch or larger cooking grid. The G3 connects to the kamado via the included adapter plates.
Fan's Damper Setting:
The blower includes a built-in rotating damper to fine-tune airflow. The G3's maximum fan output is 20 CFM. For Kamado grills, we recommend 5 to 10 CFM. To achieve the lower airflow, you damper down (partially close) the built-in rotating damper. We love this feature, as it allows us to have top and bottom control over airflow!
Not only does the damper control the airflow when the fan is running, it also limits the amount of air the fire is naturally drawing into the kamado. With a little practice, you'll learn the damper settings so the fan runs intermittently when the cook has settled to your target temperature.
Damper Adapter Plates:
The fan comes with two sized plates:
- Small/Medium Adapter Plate: 2.75 x 1.97″ (70 x 50mm)
- Large/XL Adapter Plate: 3.43 x 3.03″ (87 x 77mm)
For kamado grills, the Adapter Plates slide into the kamado's bottom draft door track. The Plates are rotatable (90°) to find the most snug fit in the track. Not to worry, if the Plates do not fit the draft door track. as you can quickly trim the larger Plate to match the track width. It's not hard to do with a pair of metal snips or shears.
Slide the lower vents draft door over the Adapter Plate to firmly secure the Plate into the track.

- High heat-resistant Edge blower fan
- High heat-resistant molded cover
- Stainless steel frame and hardware
- Maximum flow rating: 20 CFM
- Connector plug: 2.5mm ID
- Cable length: 4.5ft (1.4m)
- Power source: 12VDC, 0.68A, 8W
- Operates with all Drive-enabled FireBoard models
Important:
- Blower does NOT include Drive Fan Control Cable, which is needed to use a fan with the FireBoard 2 or FBX11. FireBoard 2 Drive/Pro models will power fan directly, no Drive Fan Control Cable necessary.
- For non ceramic grills, the G3 model uses a new Drive G3 Ball Valve Adapter and is not compatible with the previous adapter. However, the Drive Blower Nozzle Adapter is compatible with both blower models.
