Tired of dealing with faulty alligator clips when placing the pit temperature probe? The Vertical Probe holder is a quick and simple solution.
Easy to use - (1) slide the pit probe into one of the two, adjustable probe holders, (2) push the bottom wedge between the grid's crosswires and (3) adjust the probe height. We see no reason to, but you could attach an Alligator Clip with Pit Probe to the vertical stem.
The wedge and two probe holders are made from high temperature, food grade silicon. The vertical stem is stainless steel. All parts are dishwasher safe. The high temperature silicone is safe to 650°F (340°C) but should not be exposed to direct flame.
