Product Description
Handy 3 leg ring holds a 10" half-moon or full round heat deflector under the cooking grid or supports a 12" wok. Set atop the ConvEGGtor to hold a 10" pizza stone.
Note: The Small Spider only fits the Small Big Green Egg. It does not fit other kamado grills.

The Spider can hold a half-moon or full round, 10" heat deflector under the cooking grid.

Wok in the Small EGG:
The Spider in the down or up position holds a CGS, 12-inch wok. A 12-inch wok is the recommended size for the Small Big Green EGG.

Pizza:
Invert the Spider, legs down, and set atop the Big Green EGG ConvEGGtor to elevate the pizza stone and create space between stone and convEGGtor.
Which to Pick 3 or 4 Leg:
You need to check your grill's fire ring prior to ordering. Order based on whether your Egg's fire ring has notches, dimples or is smooth. The fire ring is the ceramic piece that sits atop the firebox. Order a:
- 3 Leg Spider for fire rings with 3 notches for the ConvEGGtor,
- 3 Leg Spider for fire rings that are smooth on top, no notches or dimples.
- 4 Leg Spider for fire rings with 4 shallow dimples along the top of the fire ring.
Also Important: Across the top of the fire ring, measure to ensure the inside diameter of the fire ring is at least 11 inches and the inside diameter of the egg is at least 13-5/8 inches.
Hold Hot Items:
The Small Spider is perfect for elevating hot accessories above a table or work surface. Best for supporting Small to Large EGG related accessories.
The Small BGE Spider can hold 8 to10-inch diameter objects. It drops 1.125 to 1.75 inches into the fire ring, depending on if placed in/out of the ConvEGGtor notches.
The Spider is fabricated using 1/4-inch Stainless round bar. The legs are TIG welded to the ring for increased durability. The ring's diameter is approximately 8-1/2 inches, outside diameter.
