Stone and Drip Pan Recommendations
Use these recommendations to choose the best deflector, drip pan, or pizza stone setup for your Pit Boss 24 kamado accessories.
Drip Pan: The CGS 18" Round Stainless Drip Pan is recommended when set inside the Adjustable Rig.
For Spider placement, use the CGS 16" drip pan. The 18" drip pan is too big for the Spider.
Pizza Setup
Best choice: 16" Deflector
The 16" full round stone is the preferred size. You can also use two 16" half-moon deflectors. Add CGS ceramic spacers to create an air gap under the pizza stone.
- Other options: 14", 15", or 18". Be cautious with the 18" stone, as it can be harder to manage stone temperature.
CGS Pit Boss 24 Spider
Best choice: 16" Half-Moon Deflectors
A pair of 16" half-moon deflectors is the preferred setup. Use both halves together for full indirect coverage, or use one half-moon for two-zone grilling.
CGS Pit Boss 24 Woo Ring
Best choice: 16" Half-Moon Deflectors
The Woo Ring works best with a pair of 16" half-moon deflectors for indirect barbeque and two-zone cooks.
CGS Pit Boss 24 Adjustable Rig
Best choice: Two 16" Half-Moon Deflectors
The Adjustable Rig works with multiple deflector options, but a pair of 16" half-moons gives the best flexibility because they fit both the Rig and Spider.
- Other option: 18" half-moon deflectors on the Rig only
Adjustable Rig Half Stone Hanger
Best choice: one 18" Half-Moon Deflector
The Half Stone Rig Hanger is the best place to use the larger 18" half-moon deflector. It provides max protection under the half-moon grid above.
- Other option: one 16" half-moon deflector
