Measure your Pit Boss K22 firebowl to ensure proper fit:

• 4.5" up from the charcoal grate: Inside diameter must be at least 15.75"
• Across the charcoal grate: Inside diameter must be at least 12"

Our Preferred Setup

For both grilling and low & slow BBQ on the Pit Boss K22:

• High-Heat Grilling: Remove the lump grate to maximize airflow and reach higher temperatures faster.
• Low & Slow BBQ: Leave the lump grate between the Basket and Can to mimic the grill’s natural slower airflow.

Tip: Hold the lump grate vertically above the Can and tap it gently to drop ash into the Can before removal.
