Heavy-Duty Stainless Ring for Classic, Konnected and Big Joe Fireboxes

Replace a bent, warped, or damaged firebox ring with a genuine Kamado Joe stainless steel firebox retaining ring. Separate replacement rings are available for Classic Joe, Konnected Joe, and Big Joe grills.

The ring fits over the top of the ceramic firebox panels, holding the individual pieces together and helping keep the multi-piece AMP FireBox securely positioned inside the grill.

When Should You Replace the Firebox Ring?

Years of high-temperature cooking and repeated heat cycles can eventually distort or damage the stainless steel retaining ring.

Replacement may be needed if the ring is badly warped, bent, damaged, or no longer holds the ceramic firebox panels securely in position.

How to Position the Retaining Ring

Installation Note: The individual AMP FireBox panels slightly overlap. Orient the retaining ring so the formed Divide & Conquer support notches align front-to-back and side-to-side. This keeps the Divide & Conquer rack and cooking grids properly positioned in the grill.

Each ceramic firebox panel leans inward slightly during assembly. Pull the panels toward the center of the grill and position the upper edge of each panel underneath the outer rim of the stainless steel retaining ring.

Once all of the firebox panels are captured by the ring, the firebox is held together and the Divide & Conquer cooking rack can sit in the formed supports around the top of the ring.

Important: Make sure the ring is fully seated over the top of the firebox panels. Proper seating distributes the weight of the Divide & Conquer rack evenly around the firebox and helps minimize the chance of the retaining ring warping.

What's Included: One genuine Kamado Joe stainless steel firebox retaining ring. Ceramic firebox panels, firebox base, cooking rack, charcoal basket, and other grill components are not included.
