Ceramic Base for Classic Joe & Big Joe AMP FireBoxes
Replace a cracked, broken, or damaged firebox base with a genuine Kamado Joe replacement firebox base ring.
The ceramic base sits at the bottom of the multi-piece firebox, supporting the individual firebox panels and keeping them properly positioned inside the grill.
The opening in the front of the base aligns with the grill's lower air intake, allowing incoming air to flow into the firebox and feed the charcoal fire.
Note: AMP stands for Advanced Multi-Panel FireBox

Important: These replacement bases are designed for compatible Kamado Joe grills using the multi-piece AMP FireBox. Konnected Joe models are not compatible with these firebox bases.

Firebox Assembly: The image below shows the complete multi-piece AMP FireBox. The ceramic base ring sits underneath and supports the individual firebox panels.
When Should You Replace the Firebox Base?
Small surface or hairline cracks in ceramic components do not always affect operation, but replacement may be needed if the base is broken, badly cracked, or can no longer support and position the firebox panels correctly.
Damage around the air-intake opening or upper supporting edge can also prevent the AMP FireBox panels from sitting securely and correctly on the base.
How the Firebox Base Fits
Position the ceramic base in the bottom of the grill with the large opening aligned toward the lower draft door. The individual AMP FireBox panels then rest around the upper edge of the base.
Once the panels are positioned on the base, the stainless steel firebox retaining ring fits over the top of the panels to complete the multi-piece firebox assembly.
What's Included: One genuine Kamado Joe ceramic firebox base. Firebox panels, stainless retaining ring, charcoal grate, charcoal basket, and other grill components are not included.
