The Kamado Joe Accessory Rack for the Divide & Conquer System is a simple but versatile support rack for the Kamado Joe Flexible Cooking System. Its open X-shaped design creates a stable platform for accessories that do not sit directly on the main Divide & Conquer rack.

Available in sizes for Classic Joe, Konnected Joe and Big Joe grills, the accessory rack works across the Divide & Conquer system and is especially useful when you want to position cookware or accessories independently from the main cooking grids.

Why the Accessory Rack Matters

The Kamado Joe Accessory Rack is a critical part of the Divide & Conquer system because it gives you a stable platform for positioning heat deflectors, drip pans, pizza stones, woks and other accessories at the height that works best for the cook.

For indirect cooking, we use the accessory rack to raise the heat deflectors above the firebox. This opens up airflow around and beneath the deflectors instead of leaving them sitting down inside the firebox.

The accessory rack also creates the foundation for a better drip pan setup. With the deflectors elevated on the rack, ceramic spacers can be placed above the deflectors to create an air gap between the hot ceramic and the drip pan. This helps reduce direct heat transfer into the pan and gives you a cleaner, more controlled indirect setup.

For a 2-tier Divide & Conquer setup, use 0.625-inch CGS Ceramic Spacers to create separation between the heat deflectors and drip pan.

For a 3-tier Divide & Conquer setup, use 2-inch CGS Ceramic Spacers on their side to create approximately a 1-1/2-inch air gap between the deflectors and drip pan.

• Drip Pans: Provides the foundation for creating an air gap between the heat deflectors and drip pan.
• Pizza Stones: Supports compatible ceramic stones when additional positioning flexibility is needed.
• Woks: Provides a stable platform for compatible Kamado Joe woks.
• Flexible Positioning: Can be used at available Divide & Conquer levels to move accessories closer to or farther away from the charcoal.

The rack straddles the center post of the Divide & Conquer frame. Two of the triangular ends have eyelets that hook into the vertical supports, helping keep the accessory rack centered and stable during cooking.
