Product Description
The Hanger holds (1) Big Joe half-moon deflector under the 20" half-moon grid. It's a quick and easy way to create an indirect set-up atop the CGS Kamado Joe Big Joe Expander.
Note: The Half Stone Hanger does not work with Kamado Joe Expanders.
We modified the XL EGG Hanger to fit the Big Joe Expander. It's an easy way to create an indirect set-up under the Expander's Half Grid using one of your Big Joe half-moon deflectors.
Truth be told, this half-moon set-up surprised us. We enjoy having an indirect cooking platform high in the Big Joe while grilling below on both divide and conquer grids. It's now 1-1/2" grids and no more "half this" & "half that" when grilling.
To set the Hanger, simply compress the Hanger legs inward, attach the back hook and then set the two front hooks. It takes less than a minute.
Another Big Plus: Unlike Kamado Joe's Expander, you can position the CGS Expander independent of the Big Joe grids. Go low with the Big Joe grids and high in the dome with the CGS Expander - enjoy better access to the lower grid.
The Hanger is all 3/16" 304 Stainless and fabricated by us in our wire shop. This is a wonderful add-on to the CGS Big Joe Expander, do not miss out!
