Recommended for use on the old, original, box style Big Green EGG hinge mechanism.
Note: The zip ties are not required on the new, current, style hinge where the springs are situated along the back side and attach easily.
Use the Zip Ties to secure the old style Big Green EGG hinge mechanism when replacing the gasket. Use one on each side of the old style hinge.
These are long heavy duty zip ties, not your typical big box store ties.
