Product Description
Full or Half-Moon Deflectors, Add a Wok, or Pair with Our Flexible 2nd Level Grid
The Spider creates a multi-use platform positioned approximately 2" below the Summit's main cooking grid. Use this lower platform to:
- Set a pair of 18" half-moon ceramic deflectors for low & slow smoking BBQ
- Set up Double Indirect cooking by pairing with the Summit's stock deflector
- Set one 18" half-moon deflector for two-zone grilling (direct & indirect simultaneously)
- Drop in a 16" to 20" wok for hot & fast stir-frying (16" wok shown)
Note: Protect your 18" half-moon deflectors by adding our 18" Stainless Drip Pan underneath. Double foil the pan for quick and easy clean-up.
Spider & Flexible 2nd Level Grid
Pair the Spider with our CGS Flexible 2nd Level Grid for high-temperature reverse searing. Complete phase one low & indirect up top on the Flexible 2nd Level Grid, then drop down to the Spider for the final sear phase (pictured with the CGS 20" Stainless Round Grid on the Spider).
It creates a seamless single-setup cook—no need to reconfigure or swap heavy parts mid-cook when transitioning between steps.

Spider & Kick Ash Basket
The Spider and Kick Ash Basket match up seamlessly inside the Weber Summit Kamado, leaving plenty of clearance between the two components.

Spider Specs:
Fits virtually any round ceramic setter, pan, or cooking surface from 16" to 20" in diameter.
- Material: Heavy-duty 1/4" 304 Stainless Steel with TIG welds
- Base Ring: Approximately 15" OD
- Drop: Positioned approximately 2" down inside the firebowl
Made in the USA exclusively in-house at our wire fabrication shop.
