How the rEGGulator Makes Temperature Control Easier
The rEGGulator top vent replaces the traditional daisy wheel with a simpler, more precise design. It’s one of the easiest upgrades you can make to improve temperature control, airflow, and everyday usability on your EGG.

The rEGGulator uses a single sliding vent instead of dual adjustment screws found on the older daisy wheel. Set your airflow once, and it stays put—even when opening and closing the dome.
No more re-adjusting. No more guesswork. Just consistent, repeatable temperature control.
Improved Airflow for Faster Starts
Fully open, the rEGGulator allows up to 50% more airflow than the traditional daisy wheel. That means:

- Better high-temp performance for searing

Shut It Down—No Ceramic Cap Needed
Close the slider and the rEGGulator fully restricts airflow, helping extinguish the fire after your cook. When closed, it also provides built-in protection from light rain—no need to swap caps after each cook.

Optional Rain Cap for Wet Weather Cooking
If your EGG lives outdoors without cover overhead, the rEGGulator Rain Cap adds extra protection in rainy conditions. It helps prevent water from entering the top vent while maintaining airflow control.

The Rain Cap features the same cast iron construction and pre-seasoned finish as the rEGGulator. It installs quickly—just drop the vertical arm into the built-in sleeve—and removes just as easily when not needed.
