Product Description
Wide Drip Coverage for Large & Classic Kamado Setups
Our 16" stainless round drip pan is the go-to size for many large-class kamado setups, including the Large Big Green Egg, Kamado Joe Classic, Pit Boss 24, Louisiana Grills 24, Grilla Kong 24, and other ceramic grills using 18" to 20" round cooking grids.
The 16" pan provides broad drip coverage when paired with 16" deflectors. It can also work with select 15" deflector setups when the pan is positioned above the firebowl.
Why Use a Stainless Drip Pan?
- Protects Ceramic Deflectors — keeps grease and drippings off porous ceramic surfaces.
- Cleaner Kamado Cooks — helps reduce burnt grease, off-odors, and stubborn buildup.
- Reusable Design — more stable and long-lasting than disposable aluminum pans.
- Wide Round Coverage — ideal for catching drippings from pork butt, brisket, ribs, and other larger cuts.
Fixed Rack Setups
Kamado Joe Classic I, II & III Divide & Conquer

Kamado Joe Divide & Conquer setup using the Accessory Rack to hold the 2" deflectors, spacers, and 16" drip pan. The 16" pan only fits above the firebowl.
Large EGG ConvEGGtor — CGS PSWoo or EGGspander
The 16" pan provides maximum coverage above the ConvEGGtor. If you want the pan to match the ConvEGGtor's circular section choose the 14" drip pan.

Large Big Green Egg ConvEGGtor setup with 2" spacers laid on their 1-1/2" side, pushing the 16" drip pan higher and closer to the cooking grid. 1" spacers work too.
CGS 3 or 5 Leg Woo for Large EGG

3-Leg Woo for Large EGG with 16" half-moon deflectors, 1" ceramic spacers, and 16" drip pan. 2" spacers do not fit in this setup.
CGS Woo for Pit Boss 24 & Louisiana Grills 24
The 16" drip pan is also a strong match for setups where 16" deflectors sit lower inside the firebowl.

Woo Ring for Pit Boss 24 and Louisiana Grills 24 with 16" half-moon deflectors, 2" spacers laid on their 1-1/2" side, and 16" drip pan.
Other Large-Size Grills
- Primo Round Deflector Rack requires a 14" drip pan.
- Vision Woo Ring and Spider require a 14" drip pan.
- Grilla Kong 24 can use a 16" drip pan on its 3-leg diffuser.
If your grill is not listed, call us and we can help you find the correct drip pan.
Flexible Rack Setups
CGS Large Adjustable Rig for Large EGG & Vision Grills
The Large Rig gives EGG and Vision owners several ways to position the 16" drip pan. This is a one of the advantages of the Adjustable Rig over fixed-position OEM rack systems.
Note: For the Vision Rig, the 16" drip pan only fits inside the Rig, not on the lower Spider inside the firebowl.
Slide Guides or Crossbars can be used to position the pan higher or lower in the Rig depending on the cook.

Large Big Green Egg Adjustable Rig setup with 16" drip pan raised above half-moon deflectors.

Large Adjustable Rig double indirect setup with the 16" drip pan elevated above the deflectors.
Note: Additional Crossbars or Slide Guides are required for multi-level setups.
How to Use & Clean
It is straightforward, but do not skip the foil.
- Double-Line with Foil: Overlap two sheets of heavy-duty foil in a "+" pattern before the cook. It makes cleanup quick and easy.
- Extend Coverage: You can flare the foil slightly over the rolled rim to catch wide drippings without blocking edge airflow.
- Expect Tarnish: It is normal for stainless steel to discolor from smoke and heat inside a kamado. This does not affect performance. Designate this pan as your dedicated BBQ grill pan.
- Cleaning: Ball up the foil with drippings and toss it in the trash. Give the pan a quick hand wash or place it in the dishwasher.
- Dishwasher: If you skip the foil, the dishwasher will not remove hardened baked-on grease.
Ceramic Spacers
For best results, allow as much vertical space as possible between the heat deflector and drip pan. More air space helps minimize radiant heat from the deflectors before it reaches the pan. Keep in mind, the deflectors get much hotter than your low-and-slow cooking temperature.
👉 Pairing Tip: Need to elevate your pan? View our handy Ceramic Spacers (3 per set).
Why the 1" Tapered Side Matters
The 1" tapered sidewall flares outward to help catch grease where it is most likely to fall from larger cuts of meat. The 1" depth gives you generous drip-catching capacity without creating unnecessary clearance issues.
Since kamado grills already retain heat and moisture extremely well, we generally do not recommend adding liquid to the drip pan during most BBQ cooks.
What’s Included
- (1) 16" Stainless Steel Drip Pan
Foil, ceramic deflectors, rack systems, crossbars, slide guides, and ceramic spacers are sold separately.
16" Drip Pan Specifications

- Diameter: 16"
- Depth: 1" with tapered sidewall
- Edge: Rolled top edge for added rigidity
- Material: 200-Series Stainless Steel
There is no practical need to pay more for 304 stainless in this application. All stainless drip pans will tarnish and discolor from normal BBQ use, but that does not affect performance.
Half-Moon Pans & Built-In Feet
Our preference is one full round drip pan because it better matches the deflector coverage used for longer, messier BBQ cooks like pork butt, brisket, and ribs.
For shorter or cleaner cooks, foil over one or both deflectors is often enough. If you use any reusable drip pan, we still recommend lining it with foil for easier cleanup and longer life.
Built-in feet may sound convenient, but they usually create very little air gap between the very hot deflector and pan. A larger, adjustable air gap gives drippings a better chance to stay cleaner during the cook.
