The CGS Large Spiders sit directly inside the fire ring, positioning cooking grids, heat deflectors, and cookware lower in the Large Big Green EGG — closer to the charcoal and fire.
Pair your Spider with cast iron or stainless searing grates, half-moon deflectors for full indirect or split-zone cooking, or specialty cookware like a round-bottom wok. You can also use the Spider to help dial in a double-indirect setup.
Choose the Spider 2.0 for welded handles and easier lifting. The Original Spider keeps the design simple without handles and is available in 3-Leg and 5-Leg versions to match different Large EGG fire rings.
