Easy Ash Cleanup for the Vision Grills Kamado
The Kick Ash Can for Vision Kamado makes ash cleanup simple and efficient. Designed to sit directly beneath your Kick Ash Basket, this stainless steel ash can collects loose ash so you can clean out your Vision Grills kamado in seconds.
Before each cook, lift and shake the Basket — ash falls straight into the Can. Remove the Can, empty it into a non-flammable container, and return it to the firebowl. Your grill is ready to fire up again.
Confirm Your Vision Grill Compatibility
Vision Grills offers a wide variety of kamado grills. Only Vision Grills with the conventional lower slider vent can use the Basket and Can. See image below.
Compatible lower vent Vision Grills include: Classic B Series, Classic B Series with Ash Drawer, HD1 Series, and Classic Series Grills.
To ensure the Can fits your firebowl, confirm the lower firebowl opening measures:
- 7.75" to 9.5" inside diameter
- Minimum 3.25" depth
Always measure before ordering, as manufacturers occasionally make minor updates to firebowl designs.
Our Preferred Setup
For both grilling and low & slow BBQ, the Kick Ash Basket holds the lump charcoal while the Can remains in the bottom of the grill. The factory lump grate can be used strategically depending on your cooking style:
- High-Heat Grilling: Remove the lump grate to maximize airflow and reach higher temperatures faster.
- Low & Slow BBQ: Leave the lump grate in place between the Basket and Can to mimic the grill’s natural restricted airflow.
Tip: When removing the lump grate, hold it vertically above the can and tap it a couple of times to drop the ash into the Can.
