Upgrade your Pit Boss 22 kamado with a Kick Ash Basket & Can for easier charcoal management and faster ash cleanup. Add a CGS Divider for even greater flexibility and true two-zone cooking control.

Confirm Compatibility Before Ordering
Before ordering, measure your Pit Boss 22 firebowl to ensure proper fit:
- Measure 4.5" up from the charcoal grate — inside diameter must be at least 15.75"
- Measure across the charcoal grate — inside diameter must be at least 12"

The Kick Ash Can sits inside the bottom opening of your Pit Boss 22 firebox for fast ash removal. Verify measurements before ordering:
- Inside Top Diameter: 7.60"
- Edge-to-Edge Top Diameter: 9.75"
- Bottom Outside Diameter: 7.25"
- Overall Height: 3.25"
Our Preferred Setup
For both grilling and low & slow BBQ on the Pit Boss 22, the Kick Ash Basket holds the lump charcoal while the Can remains in the bottom of the grill. The factory lump grate can be used strategically depending on your cooking style:
- High-Heat Grilling: Remove the lump grate to maximize airflow and reach higher temperatures faster.
- Low & Slow BBQ: Leave the lump grate in place between the Basket and Can to mimic the grill’s natural restricted airflow.
Tip: When removing the lump grate, hold it vertically above the can and tap it a couple of times to drop the ash into the Can.
Note: Firebowl design may vary slightly. Always measure to confirm compatibility.
