Why Use a Stainless Drip Pan

Ceramic deflectors absorb moisture like sponges. Trapped moisture can steam, stress the ceramic, and eventually lead to cracks. Using a 14-inch drip pan helps:

How to Use

Place the drip pan directly above your Vision Grill’s heat deflector. Line with double foil for quick, easy clean-up.

On the CGS Woo, use up to 1.5-inch spacers to elevate the drip pan above the deflector.

Adding Fluids

At CGS, we prefer not to add liquid to the drip pan during BBQ cooks. Unlike offset smokers that constantly move air, kamados hold heat and moisture exceptionally well. Extra liquid raises humidity, which can impede bark development - and bark is what everyone likes.
