The CGS XL Spiders hangs directly inside the fire ring, positioning cooking grids, heat deflectors, and cookware lower in the XL Big Green EGG — closer to the charcoal and fire.
Depending on your needs, choose from the Original Spider, the CGS Handle Spider or BGE Handle Spider. The Handle Spiders make for easier lifting and handling.

Pair your Spider with cast iron or stainless searing grates, 18-inch half-moon deflectors for full or split-zone indirect cooks, or specialty cookware like a round-bottom wok. You can also use the Spider to help dial in a double-indirect setup.
