CGS Vision Spider – Multi-Purpose Bracket for Large Vision Grills
The CGS Spider is a more practical replacement for the Vision Grill Lava Stone Holder. The Spider adds flexibility for BBQ, searing, wok cooking, and more.

- Set Legs Up or Down – adjust for grilling or indirect cooking.
- Low & Slow BBQ – hold two 13″ or 15″ half-moon deflectors.
- Two-Zone Cooking – use a single 15″ half stone for direct + indirect.
- Searing – drop in a 13″ cast iron grid closer to the fire.
- Stir-Fry – support a 16″ carbon steel wok for hot & fast cooks.
- Elevated Grilling – in the up position, can hold the Large EGG (18″) cast iron grid.
Recommended Deflectors & Drip Pan
- Two 14" or 15″ half-moon deflectors - want a minimum of 3/4-inch open gap between deflector and inside wall of firebowl.
- CGS 14″ Stainless Steel Drip Pan for clean-up and ceramic protection. (16″ pans are too large.)
- Compatible with Vision Grills Lava Stone — verify fit in the lower ring.
Important Fit Notes
Please confirm these measurements before ordering. Measure across the top edge of the fire bowl:
- Grill inside diameter (ID): 19″ – 20.5″
- Fire bowl inside diameter (ID): 16-1/8″ – 17-3/4″
- Deflector size: 12″ – 15.5″
Accessories (grids, pans, deflectors) must be larger than 12″ and smaller than 15.5″. CGS 16″ wok fits perfectly.
A Better Option - CGS Woo
A more practical option with greater capability is our Large Vision Grills Expander - CGS Woo. It offers all the benefits of the CGS Vision Spider and raises the main cooking grid near the base opening for added flexibility. It is more popular choice.

- Drop Position – Spider lowers ~2-1/4″ into the fire bowl; fits a heat deflector and 1″ drip pan.
- Up Position – Spider raises ~2-1/2″, check clearance below felt rim.
- Best Deflector Sizes – choose 13″ or 15″ half-moons; two 15″ stones give maximum coverage and flexibility.
- Construction – 1/4″ 304 stainless steel with TIG-welded legs for superior stability.
- Made in the USA – fabricated in our Texas wire + welding shop.
