Gaskets are manufactured in the USA and Germany.
We make it easy to remove the old gasket by including a scraper and 5 blades. You will need more than one blade on the rough ceramics. The Gasket kits ship free too!
This Meta-Aramid (Nomex®) felt with adhesive peel and stick backing replaces the wool or polyester felt gasket on your Vision Grills kamado. The Gasket is designed for high temperature applications and outperforms wool and polyester felt. Complete how to instructions are included in the package. Time wise, it is about a one or two beer project.
We source the Gaskets from a USA supplier. The Meta-Aramid materials are manufactured in the USA and Germany. This is not a Vison Grills product.
The package includes enough material to do both the top and bottom rims. The Gasket is 1-1/8" wide, 0.20-0.22" thick and grey color. Gasket weight is 20-ounce, don't be fooled by lesser weight or Asian import gaskets.
We also carry replacement gaskets for the chimney, smoke, stack.
