We reworked the MiniMax Woo so the Kick Ash Basket and Woo do not interfere with each other — allowing you to run CGS accessories without fitment issues.

Divider Availability

Due to the compact size of the MiniMax firebox, a charcoal divider is not recommended for this model. The limited cooking surface and lump capacity make traditional two-zone charcoal splits impractical in most cases.

For two-zone cooking on the MiniMax, we recommend using a half-moon deflector on a CGS expander setup rather than dividing the charcoal basket.

Our Preferred Setup

For best results on the MiniMax Big Green EGG:

• High-Heat Grilling: Remove the factory lump grate to maximize airflow and reach higher temperatures faster.
• Low & Slow BBQ: Leave the lump grate in place to mimic the grill’s natural slower airflow.

Tip: Shake the Basket before each cook to remove loose ash and maintain consistent airflow.
