Kick Ash Can – Easy Ash Cleanup for Kamado Grills

The Kick Ash Can is the simple, clean solution for managing ash inside your kamado grill. Designed to sit beneath your Kick Ash Basket, the Can collects loose ash before it builds up in the bottom of your firebox.

Requires Charcoal Basket

The Kick Ash Can will not function properly with only the factory cast iron charcoal grate.

A charcoal basket is required so you can lift out the lump charcoal and access the Can for proper ash removal.

1. Place the Kick Ash Can in the lower firebox cavity.
2. Set your Kick Ash Basket above it.
3. Before each cook, shake the basket to drop ash into the can.
4. Remove the can and empty it into a non-flammable container.

The system keeps airflow clear and speeds up grill prep between cooks.

You can run your factory charcoal grate two different ways with a Can and Basket:

High-Heat Grilling:
Remove the lump grate to maximize airflow and reach higher temperatures faster.

Low & Slow BBQ:
Leave the lump grate between the Basket and Can to mimic your grill’s natural restricted airflow.

This flexibility allows you to tune airflow and fire behavior to match your cooking style.
