Paired with a 16” water tray to replace the heat deflector in my Pot Boss 24” Kamado. I’m not cooking edge to edge so this experiment seems to be working as desired. Split Spider rack, nice and level and true.
It replaced a weathered wood one. Wood dell off, and the bare metal was hot. Lets see how long this holds up in FL, or its back to the cloth wrapped metal!

I am so happy to have found the perfect fit for my new BGE Medium grill. BGE does not provide the ExpanderSystem for their Medium product. I tried another 3rd party brand and it still didn’t fit. Your product fits perfectly and looks great! Thanks for a great experience.

Great build, nice steel work. The divider locks in nicely, which is always a sign of great construction. I have have had my Kamado Joe for 7 years and this part has breathed new life into it. It significantly improved the airflow to the charcoal and Iwas able to do a 16 hour low/slow in 25 weather without changing the charcoal. When I wrapped the brisket, I checked the firebox. Tons of charcoal left. Gave the basket a shake and the fire came right back to life. This is a game changer.
Great spacers but not the same as pictured, not a huge deal but they aren’t the same. The ones received for a while now (I’ve ordered multiple throughout the years) are solid no hole in the middle and sides aren’t notched on all 4 sides. These pictures are what they were selling 8 years ago The latest ones are a hair taller than the last.
Shipped quickly and you can tell they packaged my heatdeflectorwith care. Great product think andheavyshoukd last a long time. Yes I'd buy it again.

Smoked my first brisket with this the other day on my ceramic grill. I have a vision s series and it fir well with the old bracket. Works great would recommend to anyone trying to replace lava stone or any heat deflector on ceramic egg shaped grills.
Band and hinge seem ok once installed correctly. Lack of verbal instructions was a problem as the pictorial didn't identify bottom or top pieces. The "free" wrenches were garbage even considering Chinese crap. Once I got it together upside down, it became obvious how it should have been assembled. A sentence or two of text would have saved more than an hour of figuring it out. Still can't believe it cost over $200 - better not rust.
This is a great band and hinge kit. Actually a Big Green Egg brand. Shipped with good instructions and even the tools required to do the work. I highly recommend this rebuild kit if your egg needs a new set of bands and hinges. 🙂
A bit disappointed after a few high heat cooks on my BGE XL the fire box became warped . It is still useable but does no longer fit snug

Quality as always. It gives me room to put my roast potatoes under a rotisserie chicken. Creates fantastic flavour. Also great for searing a steak very close to the coals. Love it.
Perfect size for vision lava stone (deflector). Much better than the original bracket! The original bracket broke, and I’m so glad I found this one!
