Looked at a lot of different options on Amazon. Decided to check CGS since I’ve loved using their grill baskets. Thought I’d have to pay a lot more but also thought it might be worth it. Lo and behold their price was better than what I was considering on Amazon. Nice thick and wide gasket. Adhesive seems like it’s good (won’t know until a bunch of high temp cooks.)
Install was easy. While I have lots of scrapers including one was a nice touch. And turned out with all the nasty soot and gasket I was scraping off it was nice to be able to sacrifice this one. Definitely would recommend this product! (watch the install video they link to)

This gasket is not for the LG 24. I removed the factory (woven) gasket and put this one on both top and bottom. When I was done there was a significant gap in the seal all the way around my grill. I’ve seen this tho of gasket used on the BGE’s and that’s probably what grills they should be used for…not this grill. When I went to remove, this gasket left tons of felt that will definitely be a nightmare to remove.

One good thing I can say about it is you can use it on the top damper and it’ll take up the gap left by the factory (black) gasket.

I am very pleased as to how easy it was to install my new gasket for my Grilla Kong Kamado Grill. I was however, disappointed when I added a box of food grade black gloves. The shipping for the gasket was free which I greatly appreciated along with my military discount. It turned out that the shipping for the gloves was more than the cost of the gloves. 🤔I couldn't see paying over $20 for gloves that cost under $10. Anyway, I am satisfied with my purchase. Read somewhere this was a two beer job. My experience indicates it takes a little longer than that. I'm new to komoda cookers and bought my cooker used. It needed heavy cleaning and a new gasket. I Wanted to buy a gasket from a company that deals with grills and not a bunch of mail order items. I received my order promptly and followed the instructions. The gasket itself was easy to apply and I think the time it takes to complete the install will depend on how detailed you want to get with the removal of the old gasket. Removal of the old gasket is not an easy task. The razor blade scraper that comes with the kit is a very helpful tool. I also used a surface preparation pad to help remove the old adhesive. I have a large 22-in Louisiana Komodo and there was more than enough gasket material to do the job. So far the gasket appears to be good quality and exactly as described. As I mentioned the installation went smooth and the peel and stick adhesive on the gasket seem to work very well. I think time will tell if that's an accurate statement. For now I give this gasket and this purchase hi marks.
