Small EGG, Raised Grid Expander & Heat Deflector - CGS Woo

Raise the cooking grid. Add a ceramic stone for indirect cooks. Handles make for easy in and out!

Note: This Woo Ring fits the Small Big Green EGG®. It does not fit other manufacturers' grills.

Option to Remove Handles: If you would like the Woo without Handles, just check the "Yes" box under 'Please Remove the Handles'.

Important: 

• Egg's ConvEGGtor does not fit the Small Woo. Folks prefer the 10 Inch Deflector Stone, as it is easier to handle.
• Egg's Small, 13-Inch, Cast Iron Grid does not fit the Small Woo. We do not recommend raising cast iron grids or griddles, as it pushes the cast iron away from the heat it needs to impart the grill marks. Cast iron is best used close to the fire.

The Small Woo raises the Small EGG's cooking grid near the felt line (base top) for direct grilling on a raised grid. Add CGS' 10 Inch Round Ceramic Stone as a heat deflector and 10 Inch Stainless Drip Pan for the perfect indirect, smoking BBQ set-up.

Handles make it easy to lift the Woo in and out EGG. The Small Woo with Handles only works with the 13-inch, cooking grid that came with your Small EGG.

The Woo raises the cooking grid approximately 2.75 inches above the fire ring. The outside diameter of the upper and lower ring is approximately 12.25 inches. 

  Measure to insure the Small Woo fits your grill. Confirm the Woo's 12.25" OD base ring will sit atop the fire ring, preferably in the middle of the fire ring. The distance from the top of the fire ring to the top of the base should be at least 3 inches.

The Small Woo is fabricated with 1/4-inch diameter, 304 grade Stainless Steel. Made in the USA by Ceramic Grill Store, in our wire fabrication shop.
