The LG/Pit Boss Spider creates a platform 2" inside the firebowl.  The LG/Pit Boss Spider sits in the firebowl's three notches.

BBQ Set-up with Half-Moon Deflectors: 

Use two 16" Half-Moon Deflectors and 16" Stainless Round Drip Pan to create the indirect set-up for smoking barbeque.  Spider sets in the notches atop the fire ring.

Accessory Ring with 16" Half-Moon Deflectors set-up in a Pit Boss 24 Kamado. Use for smoking BBQ cooks.
Pit Boss 24 and LG 24 Accessory Ring to hold 16" half-moon deflectors and 16" Stainless Drip Pan for smoking BBQ indirect.

Dual Zones and Searing:

Create dual grilling zones, direct & indirect, with (1) 16" Half-Moon Deflector on the Spider. Use a 16" cast iron grid to sear closer to the lump; EGG's Medium 16" CI grid pictured.

Go 16" wok for Asian flair, Spider can be set up or down. Most set it up for easier wokking. Go legs down atop the platesetter to elevate the pizza stone higher.
