The 18" Flat Pizza & Baking Stone brings artisan-style baking to your XL Big Green Egg. Perfect for pizzas, flatbreads, and cookies, it mimics the high-heat performance of a traditional stone oven — absorbing moisture and distributing heat evenly for a perfectly crisp crust every time.
Crafted from durable ceramic, this stone holds steady heat while withstanding the intense temps of kamado grilling. Drop it on your cooking grid or use it in tandem with a heat deflector for indirect cooks. Weighs approx. 11 lbs.
Note: Check out the CGS 18" Deflector. It's thicker, heavier and cheaper than EGG's 18.
Fits: XL Big Green Egg, Kamado Joe Big Joe, Weber Summit Kettle, and most grills with a 22-inch or larger, round cooking grid.
Pro Tip: Preheat the stone as the grill comes to temp to avoid thermal shock and achieve that perfect, blistered pizza bottom.
Use: Best to set the stone in the grill as the grill comes to temperature to prevent thermal shock. Ceramic Stones absorb moisture like sponges, so protect the topside of the Stone with foil or drip pan.
Care: Do not oil or use dish detergents on the stone. Do not do clean with high heat or in the dishwasher.
Check out our 18" Stainless Drip Pan, Ceramic Spacers, and pizza Turners. Extend the pan's coverage with foil to catch drippings. Use the Spacers to lift the pizza stone above the blocking stone. Use the long Turner to work/check the dough during the cook.
