Welding gloves are commonly worn as hand protection against hot equipment. We've been on a four year quest for an exceptional pair of gloves. We found, tested these and like 'em. Basic glove design includes: heavy wool, thumbstrap, 15” length, thermo-leather and fully enclosed lining. The Gloves are not recommended for food handling. When handling any hot items from the cooker, it's best to preplan on how and where the items will go. Size: XL

More than your average EGG gloves!

These are the best gloves I've ever used with HOT environments. Try to remove a 600 degree plate setter or pizza stone and you will agree. As a professional using the BGE, I have given dozens of pairs away with nothing but kudos from the Eggheads!

Great Gloves

I was looking for a pair of gloves that would allow me to move the Adjustable Rig in and out of the egg while it was hot. They worked perfectly. The heat did transfer a little when I removed the ceramic stone but not enough for me to burn my fingers. Great gloves and highly recommend these for using with the rig.

Quality Product

These gloves are very well made and good insulating properties. I only wish they came in a smaller size as these are huge on my smaller hands.
