14" Full Round Stainless Drip Pan, protect & keep the ceramics clean

Pair with the following heat deflectors, accessories and kamado grills.

Our stainless drip pans are a simple & cost effective way to protect & keep the ceramics clean. Ceramic deflector stones absorb moisture like sponges. Moisture in a deflector can steam, stress the ceramic and ultimately cause a break. A pan set on or above the deflector can keep drippings off the deflector. The pan can also keep your grill cleaner for faster start-ups on the next cook.

  • 13" to 14" round heat deflector stones,
  • Medium Big Green EGG - CGS Woo Ring,
  • Large Woo Ring, all grills using a 13"/14" heat deflector,
  • Large Adjustable Rig, all grills using a 13"/14" heat deflector,
  • Large Big Green Egg, CGS Spiders,
  • Large Big Green EGG ConvEGGtor,
  • Classic Kamado Joe, CGS Spider,
  • Classic Kamado Joe, Divide & Conquer,
  • Louisiana Grills 22 - CGS Spider and all deflectors,
  • Pit Boss 22 - CGS Spider and all deflectors.
  • Primo Round Kamado, CGS Woo Ring,
  • Primo Round Kamado, Primo Deflector Rack,
  • Vision Grills - CGS Spiders and Woo Rings, (except cadet, M or XL Series),

CGS Ceramic Spacers, Elevate the pan: Some folks like to create an air gap between heat deflector and drip pan. The air gap reduces/eliminates the radiating heat the moves through the deflector and into the pan. It's one way to minimize the drippings in the pan from burning. We offer ceramic spacers in multiple sizes to use between deflector and pan. If you have our Adjustable Rig, it is easy to create spacing: simply set the stone and pan at different levels.

Specs: 14" diameter, 1” tapered side and rolled top edge. The drip pan will heat tarnish. Recommend foiling for easy clean up. 200 series stainless.

14" Drip Pan 1" too small for Large BGE ConvEGGtor

Wish Ceramic Grill Store manufactured their own drip pans. These are a stainless steel serving tray intended for use in the restaurant/food service industry. Ideally the drip pan would be 15" to completely cover the Large BGE convEGGtor. BGE makes their own disposable drip pans now and they are the perfect 15" diameter. I've been covering the disposable drip pans with a sheet of Aluminum foil. Even after 10 uses they still look brand new. I'd recommend the BGE brand if you're you're in the market for a drip pan. By the way, see my other review on the 16" drip pan page. I found those are too big and actually restrict air flow through the BGE when trying to hit temperatures of 400º or more.

Hi, thanks for the review but a couple things. Our pans are tapered to provide maximum coverage at the top with minimal interference along the pan's bottom. So, the 14-inch pan will cover 14 inches topside which is the same base diameter as the Large EGG convEGGtor. I am not sure where you get 15 inches on the EGG's pans as they are 14 inches too. One issue with disposable aluminum pans is strength. When holding liquids, the disposables need some type of support underneath if you ever carry or move them, as they can fold from the added weight. We too recommend foiling pans as it makes for easy clean up and with the foil you can extend coverage a bit, if needed.

On the 16-inch pan, its bottom is 14 inches in diameter, same as the Large convEGGtor, and top is 16 inches in diameter. When using a 16 (larger) pan, set the ConvEGGtor on top of the fire ring not in the convEGGtor notches if your fire ring has them. This elevates the entire set-up and improves airflow when working higher temperatures. Set like this, the 16-inch top is 1-3/4 inches above the fire ring. As the heat moves past the pan, the pan's tapered edge gently pushes the heat away and towards the outer parts of the cooking area.

Happy Grilling, CGS
