Mini Deflector Bundle creates more flexibility with the Mini Big Green EGG.
Note: This Bundle only fits the Mini Big Green EGG. It does not fit other kamado grills.
Important: The Mini Heat Deflector Bundle requires the EGG Mini 10" diameter Stainless cooking grid. We recommend measuring your grid, as Big Green EGG offered several different sizes over the years. We carry the 10-inch grid. Call us if you need assistance.
Grilling on the Expander:
Raising the grid off the fire ring will provide more grilling area. The overall height is approximately 1.3", a smidge above felt line.
Octagonal Heat Deflector:
You can add a heat deflector under the grid. In-house, we cut an 8-sided stone. The stone sits atop the Expander's rectangular base.
Setting the Expander in the Mini EGG:
As pictured below, the Mini Expander rectangular base sits on the flat, top section of the fire ring. The Expander does not sit in the four notches atop the fire ring.
Note: Handles can't be added to the Mini Woo.
