Deflector Plates for Primo's Junior Oval Grill

Most common uses for the Junior oval deflector plates:

• Pair of plates on deflector racks to deflect heat during barbeque cooks; or
• Single plate on one deflector rack to create dual temperature zones when grilling.

Primo deflector plates come two (pair) in a box. You need two plates to make a set for smoking barbeque in the Junior Primo. Use one deflector plate for two zone grilling in the Junior Primo.

The deflector plates block the heat as it rises from the fire. In ceramic grill circles, this is called an indirect set-up and is key to smoking barbeque or creating dual zones when grilling. 

Deflector Rack(s): Required to hold the Plate(s)

A deflector rack holds a deflector plate under the cooking grid. You need two deflector racks for barbeque cooks and one when grilling. Set the rack and plate under the cooking grids.
